The Dog

The neighbors continue to violate the Homeowners agreement by having a dog. Supposedly, they are getting fined every month for it, but I have no way to verify that, and it hasn't been a deterant to keeping him. Here is a photo of the hole he dug in my yard yesterday. Also pictured is the front of their house- the only portion they keep clean. (Notice the lovely ice cream vending machine on the front porch.) When we had our mediation, the neighbors countered our complaint about the dog violation with our 'violation' of having flowers planted in our yard. Technically, because the lot is considered shared, we have to have their permission to plant flowers. So I ripped them up. All my hard work, ripped up by my own hands. It's so sad and depressing. We have our house on the market. We don't know where we will live; I can't continue this drama here. It's been affecting my health for a long time now.
